Product Description
Radiant heating means an absolutely silent installation, a very low air velocity in the occupied zone and an even temperature distribution in the room. Because the air is heated indirectly and the people, walls and floors directly, the vertical temperature gradient is minimal. This has a beneficial effect on
the energy consumption. Radiant panels are maintenance-free, with an output that does not change over time
The Sabiane Duck Strip radiant panels are manufactured in different widths. Each model is available in lengths of 4 and 6m (3 and 5m on request) and can easily be assembled into larger lengths by connecting them with press fittings or welding.
Start and end panels have welded collectors.
In this way, installations can be designed with radiant panels per whole meter of length and with different flow options
for optimal pressure loss, an even room temperature and the shortest possible connecting pipes.
Features and Benefits
• SABIANA radiant panels have an exclusive and highly efficient design.
• The radiant panel is wrapped around the tubes, with 80% contact between tubes and radiant panel. This improves the heat exchange between pipes and the radiant panel.
• The panel is made of cold-rolled steel sheet of 0.8 mm thick.
• The tubes are made of high-quality steel with a thickness of 1.5 mm for standard applications up to 100 °C. The diameter of the tubes is 21.3 mm.
• Supply and return of the hot water is possible via the “headers”, which are welded to the ends of the start and end parts of the radiant panel. These headers also have 2 3/8” BSP connections for bleeding and emptying the pipe.
• The insulation material consists of glass fiber wool, protected by bituminized paper.
• The surface finish is unique. Each strip is first degreased. When the panel is removed from the degreasing bath, it is wrapped in a film before it can come into contact with the outside air. The panels are then coated with an epoxy-polyester powder and dried at 180 °C. Final color is RAL 9002 (grey) or RAL 9016 (white).
